La guerre de la petanque

This is a concept I've been working on for a while now. The idea came in my head when I was playing petanque (or 'jeu de boules'), a traditional French sport. I love the sport, but unfortunately it's not very popular below the age of 50....So I started whondering; What if I create super-petanque-players with amazing ball-control? Just like the dart-players that enter the stage in a cape, playing their own fighting tune (eye of the tigre?)....

I registered the concept of this bunch because I want it to be animated by a major studio. Who's interested?

The book is a songbook and it contains songs about Europe; Silly songs about each European country. The lyrics are illustrated by illustrators from these countries. I wanted to give them all happy 'monumental hats' to strengthen the recognisability of each culture.
Didn't know that, so for now I decided to push it through. I filled in photoshop, since that is the programm I scanned the original into.
I hope it's an option to post analogue illustrations like these.
The original was made in acrylics on a 30x40cm carton.
It's one in a series of illustrations for a childrens book.
